  • Sunday June 29: Seattle Pride is proudly hosted in downtown Seattle. This parade is an event you don't want to miss!
  • Saturday October 4: Announcing the 22nd Annual Seattle AIDS Walk official date! Start planning your team and visit the 2008 Seattle AIDS Walk website!

Upcoming Community Events

  • Friday June 27: National HIV Testing Day. An estimated 250,000 people in the United States have HIV and are not aware of it. Take advantage of this day and go get tested! Go to www.hivtest.org to find a testing site near you.
  • Sunday June 29: MPowerment will be hosting “Paradise” – a Pride party for LGBT youth (ages 22 and under) from 2:00-7:00PM at The Vera Project in the Seattle Center. This free event will include food and drinks, as well as music, dancing, games, and prizes. “Paradise” will be a safe space for LGBT youth to hang out and socialize with one another during the Pride Festival. Free HIV and STD testing will also be available.
  • Tuesday July 1: The True Colors tour in Seattle at the WaMu Theater is a celebration you don't want to miss! Tickets are available through Ticketmaster. The concert features Cyndi Lauper, the B-52s, Rosie O’Donnell, Joan Armatrading, Nona Hendryx and host Carson Kressley.
  • August 22-30: Seattle Gay Softball World Series is proudly hosted in Seattle this year. The theme of this year is Northwest Quest, and Lifelong AIDS Alliance is proud to sponsor and be a beneficiary of this event.
